Getting radio active was formed to finding  Persones with Special Needs interested in the world of ham radio . By using easy Online   tools and links along with free Help from Local hams in the Alabama Area . I Michael Kf4bog Started My first Program in 2006 and today the Interest is growing very fast to where that i started this new Online Website . I’m Also the Special Needs Liaison, for the Alabama Amateur Radio Emergency Service, District 6 and have Enjoyed it alot . I also hope that with this website i can get the countys in the District 6 area to see what Special needs hams can do for people in  Public Service . And tell other’s about the site as well .
